Hi, Sarah Knight here. I’m the program director at 720 ABC Perth and blogging this exciting event as Peter paints.
I spent a bit of time sticking up plastic drop sheets this morning. It looked like we were going to commit murder – every surface covered – but I know my boss would not be happy if oil paint got on the carpet!
Peter came in with his pre-mixed paints. He’s calm and excited – if you can be both at the same time. He got up at 3 this morning with another idea. He’s going to paint the boys… and then his plan is to swivel about 90 degrees and paint the view through the glass into the control room.
So we’ll end up with a diptych!
In the control room you’ll see Roanna Edwards – producer, Clint Wheeldon – sport commentator and me… sitting here blogging.
