Portrait artist Peter Kendall is spending his Artopia residency getting a fly-on-the-wall look at the ABC - turning his experiences at the East Perth studios into a sketch book and blog of ABC staff going about their daily tasks.
Peter Kendall is a full time professional artist living in South Perth and well known for his portrait and abstract painting and children's books.
Just listened to all three of the audio files. Thoroughly recomend the interview with Sarah (if you have half an hour to spare). What a fascinating insight to Peter and his work, and straight from the heart. This whole ‘blog’ thing has me hooked, and has broadened my horizon.

Thanks Rick. We had a lovely conversation and had the chance to get into more stuff than we usually have time for on the radio. Although afterwards Peter said that he couldn’t draw me because I’m too aware of what he is doing.
